About Me
Hello, I'm Tadja, thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet where I've tried to put into words a little that I've learned from the life of my family. I grew up an only child in my quiet little blue house with painted hearts on the door and a white picket fence. I hung out with my cat Skamper and played the piano in my free time. Then - enter center stage - came this tall, dark and handsome boy with his hat on backwards at a volleyball game night who asked me to take me for a ride on his motorcycle. He came from a big, noisy, family of twelve and soon become all the things I never knew I needed! A couple months later he sold that motorcycle to pay off our honeymoon vacation and in the twelve years of marriage since we've had seven babies who we have homeschooled now for five years, moved countless of times, gone through the ups and downs of pregnancy, bipolar disorder episodes, moving, college degrees and laundry. (How come nobody told me how much laundry there would be?) I came into this whirlwind having only ever learned to cook noodles and pour cereal, earn money from babysitting and organize a desk full of stuff I would never get rid of...just tried to move around to fit better. I hope through some of the experiences I have I can share something that will help you as you manage the matters of your heart and home...because at the root of all the loud, crazy, overstimulating, anxious moments I have found that mine is so full! It's bursting...with the love and gratitude that only seems to come from learning the hard way, gritting and bearing and giving it my all.
